Our top priority is our Frenchie puppies’ health and happiness. Each puppy has a minimum 1-year health guarantee, ensuring peace of mind as you bring your new family member home. For more details on what’s covered, please review your state’s laws or contact us with any questions.
Initial Veterinary Examination: Within ten days of bringing your puppy home, it’s essential to have it examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the vet determines that your puppy is clinically ill or has passed away from an injury or illness contracted on or before the date of sale, you have several options:
- Return the puppy for a full refund.
- Exchange the puppy for another of equal value.
- Return the Frenchie puppy and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary fees that do not exceed the purchase price.
These options do not apply if the seller disclosed the health issue in writing at the time of sale and provided a health certificate from a veterinarian.
Congenital or Hereditary Defects: If, within 30 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian discovers that your puppy has a congenital or hereditary defect that adversely affects their health, or if your puppy passes away from such a defect, you have the same options mentioned above.
Notification Requirements: You must inform us of the examining veterinarian’s name, address, and phone number within two days of the vet’s certification of your puppy’s illness. Failure to notify us within two business days may result in the forfeiture of your rights.
State Laws Each U.S. state has laws regarding health guarantees for puppies. Breeders advertising through our site must provide at least 30 days of health coverage for states without mandatory health guarantees. Those laws take precedence if state laws offer a warranty over 30 days.
Extended Genetic Health Guarantees : Some breeders offer extended health guarantees covering genetic diseases or illnesses verified by veterinary examination. These guarantees typically do not cover routine veterinary care costs. Proper documentation is required before any compensation is provided.
Exclusions to Our Guarantee : Our health guarantee does not cover:
- Injuries caused by owner negligence or accidents.
- Disposition, temperament, conformation, size, weight, colour, markings, or breeding ability.
- Spaying or neutering costs, including issues like undescended testes.
- Breeds are prone to hip dysplasia if the puppy is overweight.
Our Commitment: We are committed to ensuring your puppy is healthy when they leave our care. However, a puppy’s health depends on genetics, exercise, diet, and overall care. While we cannot guarantee that your Frenchie will never face a health issue, we guarantee that we will do our utmost to support you, even beyond our official guarantee.
In the unlikely event that your puppy passes away within two years due to a genetic condition or is diagnosed with a congenital or hereditary disorder that significantly impacts their health, we will replace your puppy with another of equal value at no cost to you. The cause of puppy death must be certified by a licensed veterinarian.
If your puppy passes away due to a genetic condition after ten years, we will offer a credit of 70% of the original purchase price towards a new puppy of equal value.
Your Responsibilities: To help us ensure the ongoing health of your puppy, we ask that you:
- Please send us a copy of the initial vet examination within two business days of receiving your puppy.
- Provide timely vaccinations, deworming, and regular vet checkups as your veterinarian recommends.
Final Health Check: All our puppies undergo a thorough veterinary checkup before being sent to you. This checkup includes a comprehensive health report covering various aspects such as cardiovascular health, skin, coat, eyes, mouth, teeth, gums, musculoskeletal system, respiratory system, ears, urogenital system, and gastrointestinal system. The puppy will not be shipped to you if serious health issues are detected. Upon receiving your puppy, please have them examined by a licensed veterinarian within ten days.
Thank you for your cooperation and for choosing Lovely French Bulldogs!
